This piece imagines the quiet feeling of an afternoon room filled with colored light.

Pastel layers were used first to build the soft bands of color on the wall and floor. Ink lines were added afterward to suggest books, a chair, and a small plant near the window. The goal was to make the scene feel calm without making it feel empty.

It is one of those artworks that feels more like a mood than a moment.
